Our group fitness program is one of the most popular aspects of Elevations, and our group fitness instructors are the finest you will find in the industry. Classes are a great way to begin an exercise routine. Members who take classes enjoy seeing their friends and their instructors, and they stick with their workouts.
We offer a range of classes that appeal to women and men, beginner and advanced, young and old, coordinated and un-coordinated. Our "mind-body-spirit" programming features various types of yoga, Pilates and meditation. Our classes for aerobic and strength conditioning include group cycling, step (for all levels), kickboxing, Zumba and more! Plus, our aquatics classes are a great addition to everyone's program. There are no extra charges to take our group fitness classes.

Group Cycling
Whether you are just getting started or have an established training program, we can help you achieve your fitness or racing goals with our group cycling program. Group cycling is an aerobic conditioning class that is performed to music on specially designed stationary bikes. Group cycling is also an excellent calorie burner, using about 600 calories in an hour.
Pilates Classes
Pilates offers you a body balancing system that strengthens, lengthens, realigns and defines your body. Pilates is a system that aims to develop the body's "center" in order to create a stable core for all types of movement. Eventually the body will move with maximum efficiency and minimum effort. Postural changes as well as increased flexibility are only a few of the benefits Pilates provides. We offer many flavors of Pilates, including Pilates On The Ball, in which you work on a rubber stability ball, as well as Pilates Sculpt, and Burn & Firm Pilates, which utilizes light-weight hand-held balls. We also offer Mind, Lines and Curves to introduce you to Pilates and yoga, and Physical Art, which is an intense workout that combines yoga, pilates, strength, toning, balance and rhythm.
Yoga and Meditation
Yoga provides many physical and mental benefits, including improved physical fitness, mental clarity, stress control and general well-being. Yoga also increases strength by toning the muscles. Each class is designed to build the student’s strength and flexibility and inspire peace and tranquility. Yoga class is a place and time to concentrate on yourself, to workout, relax, breathe, and feel all sensations in your body and let go of tension. We offer many yoga classes, including Yoga I, and Power Yoga. We also offer Mind, Lines and Curves to introduce you to yoga and pilates, plus Physical Art, which is an intense workout that combines yoga, pilates, strength, toning, balance and rhythm.
Our Mind-Body-Spirit programming also includes meditation classes such as Transcend Dance and Body and Soul.
Step Classes
Step training is a variation of stair climbing in which a raised platform - or step - is employed to perform a number of routines. These step patterns ensure a high intensity workout - 30% more body fat metabolized than in traditional aerobics. However these are still low impact exercises that place only mild stress on the feet and joints. We offer programs for all fitness, experience, and coordination levels, including Step, Keep It Simple Step (KISS), and Advanced Step.
Cardio Kickboxing
Kick and punch your way to fitness! Our workout is designed for cardiovascular and muscle endurance and combines aerobics and body toning. Our classes blend boxing, martial arts, and sports conditioning drills. With music and the energy of a group fitness setting, it’s a fast paced, fun workout!
Aquatics
Pools are not just for swimming anymore! Many forms of exercise have taken to the water, joining swimming among the world’s most popular fitness programs. Whether you are pregnant, recovering from an injury or simply want to try a new way to get fit, our pool will be one of your favorite places at Elevations.
Our Waterworks class is a 45-minute cardio and toning class. This class will vary in both intensity and design to keep you motivated!

Dance Classes
Zumba is a dance/fitness class that utilizes international rhythms. It's a party! The routines feature interval training sessions in which fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. With Latin flavor and international zest, Zumba is all about making fitness fun!
Ballet Bootcamp is an energizing workout that will help build your center of power and develop your body’s core muscle groups. This unique ballet-oriented workout offers a varied, flowing mixture of stretches, strenghth, plyometics and balance. Work your body beautiful!
Body Sculpting and Core Training
Body Sculpting includes muscle strengthening and endurance workouts for all the body’s major muscle groups. Core Training focuses on the muscles in your mid-section that make up your "core". Try our Butts & Guts class to really get to your abs and your, um...posterior.
Because there is no dancing, jumping, or choreography to learn, body sculpting is ideal for those who dislike or cannot perform high impact workouts. Body sculpting also helps to prevent osteoporosis by increasing bone density. Classes include Body Blast!, Cardio Pump, Core Training, and Awesome Abs.
